The village of Spanish Springs was the first town square at The Villages, the massive central Florida retirement mecca. The mythical Spanish Springs were home to Wilhelm Sebald, a brewer of obvious German decent; The Spanish Springs Brewing Company was created as a tribute to his "Legend". Then a new legend was born thanks to the brewer at Spanish Springs, Buzz Brown. Buzzfest is a tribute to his accomplishments; Wilhelm Seabalds Oktoberfest Bier bacame a Villages sensation, not to mention multiple awards as the best Oktoberfest/Marzen in Florida.
